It's About Time!

This image was one of my favorites from last summer! I had to share it - the vertical composition, gorgeous colors and great smiles combined for a perfect portrait. I will be adding more of my favorite summer images in the next few days to inspire you - it's time to create some summer memories of your family, too!

Never a dull moment!

What a great year we have had at Lasting Images! We left our retail space in July after seven happy years there, to embark on a new creative adventure! It has been absolutely the most rewarding time I have had in photography working with my clients in their homes and treasured spaces to create "Art From Your Life". Look for a slideshow of some of our favorite images from the past six months. We are looking forward to a great new year filled with babies, children, seniors and families who really want to remember the moments and capture them in a fresh, creative way. The above image is one of our family in North Carolina this past summer. We had a blast! So glad we had an image to remember it with!!

Faces of 2011

We had a fabulous group photo session on location with our Senior Portrait Models - the Faces of 2011! They wore clothing from The Buckle and their new Faces t-shirts! It was so much fun to work with ten accomplished, enthusiastic and gorgeous seniors. Back from France and Italy!

After an amazing trip to Paris, Florence and Rome with my son, Jackson, and my parents, we are back for one of my favorite times of the year - autumn in Texas. The weather is perfect and the pie is always pumpkin, my favorite. Enjoy the football games, leaves falling and family portaits in beautiful settings for Lasting Images.

Who says it's too hot for Family Portraits?

Yes, it was hot. However, starting in the early evening, working with one of the most fun families ever, and photographing some of the prettiest land in Grayson County made for an amazing evening. These are just a couple of the images we created. . .

We had a blast with the Rodriguez family this week as two of their young men leave for college! Having two seniors at one time has made life busy for everybody, but they took a moment to remember a milestone in the life of their family. These were just a few of the awesome images from their session!
